Events in Niagara this Victoria Day Long Weekend

There are many things to do at the Falls this Victoria Day weekend as we kick off the summer and embrace the warmer weather. Victoria Day long weekend is celebrated in honour of Queen Victoria’s birthday and has been observed even before Canada was formed 150 years ago!

Prepare to be amazed by the magical display of fireworks at the Falls. Queen Victoria Park will be buzzing and ready to go at 10:00 pm. There is no greater place to experience the illumination of the sky than at Niagara Falls. The Falls and the Skylon Tower are illuminated every night of the year, with the fireworks showing us that Niagara Falls is the bright spot of the region. Also, Heartland Forest on Heartland Forest Rd., just a short 5 min. drive from the Falls-view tourist district also treats visitors to an early Victoria Day fireworks and family fun night on Saturday May 20th. Day- time is not to be out done by the artificial light of the night.

Queen Victoria Park, the Botanical Gardens and the Floral Clock are alive with flowers showing off their bright spring colours.

All weekend long you can experience the ride of your life on Niagara’s Hornblower cruises. Get up close and feel the extreme power of the breathtaking Falls. Experience this magnificent wonder of the world like you never have before! This will be the thrill of a lifetime.
